Local boys selected for prestigious Newton Foundation
7:30 AM AEDT | THREE local teenagers have been selected for the prestigious Southern Sports Academy Jack Newton Junior Golf Foundation. Tayce Cheshire, Zach Scholtz and James Gordon, all students of Cootamundra High School, were notified earlier this year that they had been chosen to be part of the foundation.

LOCAL boy Tom Maurer will represent New South Wales in this month’s Australian Polocrosse Nationals. Tom, now 15 years old, has been playing polocrosse since he was five years old and said making the state squad is “a dream come true”.
