DISNEYWORLD VISITED

What a fantastic time the Jenkins family had when they visited DisneyWorld, Florida, during the recent school holidays. Mum Toni Jenkins reports they spent 15 fun packed days in America and here pictured with Minnie Mouse at DisneyWorld are Annie, Kate and Charlie. WELCOME HOME.

AMELIA’S ARRIVAL

What great joy for former Cootamundra couple Vanessa and Scott Franklin with the arrival of their darling daughter Amelia Kate. Amelia was born on Friday last October 10 at the Parkes Hospital and weighed 8lbs 13ozs.

Big brothers Lachlan, Bruce and Hamish are also thrilled at Amelia’s arrival.

Proud grandparents are Maureen and John Franklin, of Coolamon and Elizabeth and the late Murray Maher of “Bannockburn” Coolac.

Scott and Vanessa currently reside at 10 Caledonia Street, Parkes.2870.

WARMEST CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL.

EXTENDED HOURS

Shona Neal who has taken over ‘the reins’ of Di’s Coffee Shop, is delighted to let everyone know that she will not only now be open on Saturdays BUT extended hours during the week. A ‘delicious’ place to enjoy lunch or morning or afternoon tea.

Also, on Friday last a couple who called in at Di’s for a late afternoon coffee (after having had a

‘difficult’ day in Canberra) have left their

prescription sunglasses there. They are in a spectacle case with Master Specs written on front of the light bone colored case.

BIRTHDAY GREETINGS

Lovely girl Ellie Morton, the daughter of Michelle and Peter Morton of Stockinbingal, celebrated her 16th birthday with friends last weekend. Ellie is a student at the Sacred Heart Central School.

Good luck Ellie in all your future endeavors.

AND, Birthday Greetings to Mrs Lorraine Wilson, a resident of the Cootamundra Nursing Home, who on Monday last celebrated her birthday. Feel sure that fellow residents and Lydia made your day special.

HENS NIGHT

Nadia Smith, from La Faye Hair Salon, certainly had a splendid time last weekend when friends took her out to celebrate her Hens Night.

Nadia will wed Andrew Johnson on Saturday, October 25. WARMEST WISHES.

BACK IN TOWN

It was so nice to catch up with Jeff Bristow late last week. He was back in town from Port Headland, Western Australia where he now works and what an interesting story he tells of life in that part of Australia.

PROVIDING THE SERVICE

David Moore, from Moore Clothing, is pleased to let everyone know that he is now an agent for Karanda Dry Cleaners.

So do head into Moore Clothing with your dry cleaning knowing that it is in ‘good hands.’
