SCHOOL REUNION
Plans for the 50 year reunion for Sacred Heart and De La Salle School students from Kindergarten 1950 to 3rd Year 1959 are progressing well, with contacts made from all over NSW and the ACT as well as inquiries from Queensland and Western Australia. The reunion is being planned for the weekend of September 5-6, and the Committee is still searching for classmates, including twins Patricia and Michael Williams (whose father was licensee of the Royal Hotel in the early 1950’s), John Hall (lived in Cooper Street), Tony James (his family owned the Shell Service Station in Temora Street), Karen Tetley, Jan Dunn, May Kelly, Robyn Cook, Kevin Hardy and Tony Keys.
AND, a reminder to local former students who have received invites - we would like to have your replies AS SOON AS POSSIBLE - enthusiastic former students from WA and Qld have already replied but not the locals!
All enquiries (by June 30)to Marie Holt on 6942 1600.

It was a pleasant afternoon out last Saturday when the Committee of St Vincent de Paul hosted a gathering to recognise the volunteers who work at the Vinnies shop.
All present did so enjoy the yummy afternoon tea and three ladies who are retiring after many, many years of service were recognised - Lurle Perry, of Stockinbingal, Betty Cahill and Ruth Crowe.
FITTING FAREWELL
The White Ibis was the venue on Thursday, May 28, when around 60 well wishers gathered to FAREWELL Ron Duffey after 46 years of service to Elders.
