WED IN HAWAII
From all reports the wedding of Jim Smith and Tracey Hiete was just THE HAPPIEST day - It took place at the Turtle Bay Resort, Hawaii, on Saturday June 13, under picture perfect skies!
Tracey is the daughter of Kurt and Mary Hiete, of Pacific Palisades, California, and Jim is the son of Margaret and the late Frank Smith, of Cootamundra.
Close on 58 friends and family members of the Smith family gathered at the reception together with Hiete family from California to enjoy the reception which followed Jim and Tracey’s marriage.
The happy couple plan to make their home in Sydney.
Here pictured is ‘very proud’ mother Margaret Smith together with the bride and groom -

A LOVELY LADY
It is with sadness that we report on the passing of ‘a lovely lady’. Mrs June Goodwin passed away at her home on Monday evening last June 29. The girls here at The Herald shared fond memories of our visits to The Loft and chats with June as we made our fashion purchase.
SYMPATHY is extended to June’s devoted husband Wal Goodwin, daughter Shelly McPhail and her family. Daughter in law Heather (wife of their son the late Glen Goodwin) and granddaughter Emma were able to be here with June last week.
We also extend sympathy to June’s sister Mrs Una Parr at this sad time.
BIRTHDAY
CELEBRATION S
There was much ‘fun and laughter’ at the Parker Street home of Phillip and Margaret Alexander last Saturday night when ‘top lady’ Margaret celebrated her 50th birthday.
Friends and family members gathered to wish Margaret THE BEST birthday and ‘heaps’ of happy times in the upcoming year. WARMEST WISHES MARGARET.
AND, birthday greetings to Mary Pigram who TODAY celebrates her birthday.
Enjoy the day Mary.
CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Matt from the Bistro at the
Ex-Services Club will surely give the ladies the ‘full performance’, Chrissie lunch with trimmings!!
The Luncheon is set to take place on Monday next July 6, 12 noon for 12.30pm lunch and all ladies interested are MOST WELCOME to come along and ENJOY!
AND another VERY IMPORTANT reason to be there ladies, is to FAREWELL MARVELLOUS LADY Mrs Ailsa Ryan, who has been at the helm of this successful Monthly Luncheon for as long as it has been happening.
This will be Ailsa’s last Luncheon as she is planning to shortly move to Canberra to be near family members.
Ailsa will certainly be missed in our community.
