PICTURE PERFECT DAY
It was a picture perfect day when Sarah Mickleson and Mark Croker were wed. The wedding took place on Saturday, October 10, with the ceremony taking place in the garden of Sarah’s aunt Toni Jenkins and the reception followed at the Ex-Services Club.
Sarah is on the staff of Premier Early Learning.
After the ceremony it was down to our local railway station for wedding photo (a splendid ‘backdrop’) and here pictured is the wedding party (l to r) Elizabeth Mickleson, Rebecca Storm, the bride and groom, Jonathon Stellard and Stewart Stellard.
NOW, how sweet are the junior attendants here pictured (back) Annie Jenkins and Emma Jones (front) Katie Jenkins and Charlie Jenkins.
A SPECIAL WEEKEND
For all those ladies heading off to Goulburn this weekend DO ENJOY - Tomorrow and Sunday in Goulburn will see the CELEBRATION of 150 years of the Mercy nuns in the Canberra/Goulburn Archdioceses.
There are expected to be close on 2000 people in attendance, all accommodation is totally booked out in Goulburn and I hear that a number of Cootamundra and district residents plus former boarders from Our Lady of Mercy College, Goulburn will be there to attend the Concelebrated Sunday mass followed by a procession and culminating in a luncheon.
Sr Kathy Hodge will be there to represent Cootamundra and we look forward to hearing from her next week with a summary of the success of this prestige event.
MARVELOUS HENS NIGHT
It was such a happy evening on Saturday night last when a group of lovely girls gathered at the Globe Hotel Restaurant to celebrate a Hens Night.
Bride to be Jo Bainbridge from IGA was guest of honor and from all accounts a marvelous evening was had by all.
Jo will wed Simon Pavert on Saturday, October 31, with the reception to follow at the Arts Centre.
