BIRTHDAY WISHES

Belated birthday wishes are being extended to Janet Ash from the Nursing Home, who celebrated her birthday last Thursday, February 18.

And on Sunday, Retirement Village resident Clarice Haynes was the birthday girl, with family and friends ensuring that she had a lovely day.

WORLD SUPERBIKES

A group of motorbike riders left Cootamundra yesterday, headed for the World Superbike round to be held at Phillip Island this weekend.

Included in the group was Jonathan Liles, Warwick Ingold, Stephen Betts, Paul Large and Jamie Walmsley.

HOME AGAIN

Newly engaged Di Williams from Little Wattle Preschool and Childcare has just returned home from Western Australia.

Based in Port Hedland, Di and Jeff Bristow spent three wonderful weeks camping and touring the area, of which Di says the scenery is “absolutely amazing!”. Welcome home Di.

BIRTHDAYS

Belated birthday wishes to Shirley Berkrey from Cooper Street, who celebrated her birthday last Monday.

And don’t forget to wish Helen Axsentieff a happy birthday if you see her about tomorrow!

Helen’s husband Mick and daughters Emma and Amy are sure to make it a memorable day.

And celebrating his birthday with a cake and

candles at Little Wattle yesterday was Chris Byrne who turned 19.

QUICK VISIT

Craig and Liz Bennett had a lovely weekend, with a visit from their daughter Chloe Pailthorpe and granddaughter Meg, who is nearly three years old.

The girls were home for a quick visit before returning to Bathurst.

SAD PASSING

Sympathy is being extended to the Rudd family, with Betty Rudd’s sister Win Anselmi having passed away last week. Win’s son and daughter-in-law John and Kim Anselmi, currently of Wagga, would be remembered by locals as they lived here many years ago.
