What a top day to celebrate ones birthday - Christine Leahy tomorrow Australia Day celebrates her 60th birthday and this week she and husband Ken are holidaying with all their children and certainly the ‘cake and candles’ will be out on Chris’ birthday.

CARWASH
A carwash will take place in the Woolies side car park this Sunday from 9am to 2pm. Do bring your car along for a first class wash and polish with all funds raised going towards Jenna Collingridges’ sporting trip to the UK.

NEW YEARS EVE WEDDING
It was a picture perfect New Years Eve when John England wed Amy Axsentieff.
The 3pm ceremony took place in the Sacred Heart Church with the reception following at the Cootamundra Country Club.
John is the son of Ray and Kerry England, of Yass, and Amy is the daughter of Cootamundra couple Michael and Helen Axsentieff.
There were 135 guests in attendance many travelling from far and wide to celebrate with John and Amy into the wee small hours of New Years Day 2012.
The reception room at the Country Club was transformed into a fairy wonderland thanks to the talented mum of the bride Helen, with the walls and ceiling silk lined, and fairy lights plus candles adorning the ceiling and tables.
The happy couple here pictured honeymooned in Bali and have made their home here in Cootamundra.
Amy is also pictured here with her bridesmaid, her sister Emma Axsentieff. This outstanding photo was taken on the second hole of the Country Club golf course.

80th CELEBRATION
What a special weekend it was for Rev. Bill Pryce (pictured right with his charming wife Dorothy) when he
celebrated his 80th birthday last
weekend. Rev. Bill’s birthday was Monday last January 23.
Family and friends travelled from Adelaide, Peak Hill, Cooma, Goulburn and Sydney to gather at the Country Club on Saturday evening at a dinner to mark this milestone birthday.

WED IN WOLLONGONG
What a happy time it was for the Berkrey/Farnsworth families when Brent Farnsworth wed Sarah Berkrey on October 29, 2011.
The ceremony was held at the Mt. Kiera Rotunda, Wollongong, with the reception following at the Kembla Grange Golf Club.
Brent is the son of former Cootamundra couple Wayne and Maree Farnsworth, and Sarah is the daughter of Wayne and Melissa Berkrey.
The happy couple pictured here spent their honeymoon in America and Hawaii and have made their home in Wollongong.
