STAFF at the Cootamundra Visitor Information Centre are having to constantly restock their local and regional products due to an increasing demand on the purchase of local merchandise.

Wendy Wilson from the VIC said the local and regional products are the most popular item that out of town visitors look for.

“The products are walking off the shelf, we can’t seem to keep up with the demand,” Mrs Wilson said.

She said she has noticed that a number of out of town visitors who have stopped in at the centre and purchased a variety of local and regional goods and have returned to town to purchase some more.

Some of the products the VIC has available include mustard seed oil, lavender products, food items, beef jerky, soaps and lotions and olive oils.

They also sell hampers of differing sizes consisting of local and regional products.

Mrs Wilson said the centre is always on the lookout for new merchandise to promote Cootamundra and the surrounding region.
