Local boy chosen for state team
10 Mar 10 | LOCAL boy Tom Maurer will represent New South Wales in this month’s Australian Polocrosse Nationals. Tom, now 15 years old, has been playing polocrosse since he was five years old and said making the state squad is “a dream come true”.

03 Mar 10 | COOTAMUNDRA golfers are celebrating an historic ‘four-peat’ win in the Scott Fuller Shield competition after a fifteen point victory over Tumut on Sunday. Cootamundra fielded 32 pairs and with only the best ten cards from either club counting in the score run down, posted 483 points to Tumut’s 468.

Grouped with Temora and Young for the preliminary rounds this summer, Coota was well off the pace following the first round held at Temora, however made huge inroads into the 65-point deficit on the weekend.
