THROUGH TO RIVERINA FINAL

NEXT STEP: the Cootamundra High School junior girls soccer team qualified for the Riverina Final of the Bill Turner Trophy following a convincing 5-2 win over Wagga’s Mater Dei at Mitchell Park yesterday. Pictured after their triumph are (back from left) Tenelle Eccleston, Kaila Bowditch, Charlee McPherson, Mikayla Large, Erin Holder, Kya Godbier and Maddison Baker, (front) Elisha Kelly, Shannon Foster, Hayley Mitchell, Shannon Caldwell, Tenelle Allan and Maggie Jordan. Kya finished the match with a hat trick, while Erin and Shannon Caldwell both scored first half goals. The girls are awaiting the outcome of the other semi final to see who they will play in the Riverina decider.
