More than 700 kids from schools around the Riverina converged on Cootamundra last Friday for the Annual Secondary Touch Football Carnival.

Encompassing students from years 7-11, a total of 65 teams took part in the event with games played at Nicholson Park, Clark Oval and Fisher Park.
This year’s carnival saw an increase of ten teams on last year’s event.
Among the regions represented on the day were Wagga Wagga, Temora, Goulburn, Yass, Broulee and Young.
Both Cootamundra High and Sacred Heart Central had teams entered in the event.
