Cootamundra’s coldest July mornings came back to back on Sunday the 13th and Monday the 15th with -5 and -5.4 minimums consecutively.
The Bureau of Meteorology reports that the long-term average minimum temperature during July is 1.2 degrees with this year’s average 0.9 degrees.
At the other end of the scale, the maximum temperature for July this year is one degree less than the long term average. This year’s average is 12 compared to the long-term average of 13 degrees.
