Cootamundra Development Corporation office manager Sharon Breese is encouraging prospective stallholders and parade participants to register their interest by the cut-off day on Monday.
A plethora of local organisations, institutions, committees and businesses will take part as stallholders at the fair.
“It’s shaping up to be a fantastic day,” Mrs Breese said.
“We have 30 market stalls, 11 catering stalls, 15 outdoor stalls and four marquees formally registered for the event.”
“On the entertainment front we have some great local acts on the line up including Luke Smith and his accompaniment, Elvis impersonator Rob McCrea, and his backup singers, the Cootamundra Concert Band and students of Christine Wishart’s Dance Studio.”
Activities and rides planned for children and the young at heart include a jumping castle, face painting, pony rides, bungee jumping, laughing clowns and a giant inflatable slide.
“Apparently it’s the second-largest inflatable slide in Australia,” Mrs Breese said.
NSW Fire and Rescue service mascots, ‘Bernie Cinders’ and ‘Mr Tool’, will make an appearance on the day.
Representatives from the Cootamundra brigade conduct a range of fire safety demonstrations, including a kitchen simulation, and there will be showbags at their stall.
