The hotel has been standing in town for more than 100 years, and Mr Daley can boast that the Olympic Hotel Bottlemart is Cootamundra’s only drive through bottle shop.
“The business will operate providing we receive support from the community over the next 12 months,” he said.
Mr Daley says the business will also be sponsoring local sporting organisations and providing financial assistance to the Cootamundra Hospital.
The bottle shop and the hotel have been separated into two different businesses, and the front part of the hotel will be leased out.
Mr Daley is “very confident” that the front section of the hotel will be open for business as of October 1.
Accommodation, food, coffee and bar facilities will be available at the front.
“There’s a bar, a restaurant and a brand new coffee machine waiting to be used,” proprietor Lola Daly said.
The Olympic Hotel is fully licensed, and will most likely be open from 10am to 12 midnight.
