What a splendid time in store for the many returning to town to celebrate at the School Reunion taking place here over this long weekend.
Instead of heading it the year of ‘whatever’ the Commmitte decided to call it ‘Were Turning 60’, and many former locals begin arriving here on Friday with close on 111 guests expected at the Reunion Dinner to be held at the Cootamundra Country Club on Saturday night.
Then on sunday many of the former locals will be in attendance at the Darley Cup Race Meeting taking place at our local racecourse.
AND I was delighted to be speaking to Leonie Baldwin (now of the Central Coast) one of the organising committee members, who is excited to be arriving here tomorrow with her family to play a part in this BIG reunion.
BIRTHDAY GREETINGS
So pleased to be saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the President of the Cootamundra Turf Club Brad Shields who TODAY celebrates his birthday.

Have a great week Brad.

This Saturday make your way out to the Cootamundra Showground where the market day under the banner of “River & Wren” will be taking place, with many boutique stalls and food stalls.
