Judy held the position of canteen manager for 21 years and her contributions to the school community are immeasurable. 

Students farewelled Judy last Friday with a cake and flowers, and during the captain’s speech it was noted that Judy always had a warm, welcome, friendly smile and a special way that made everyone feel included. 

P&F president Jacky Sheahan congratulated and thanked Judy for her hard work and dedication to the P&F, particularly in running the canteen and catering for special events so efficiently for such an extended period.

Jacky also recognised Judy as the major driving force in reinstating the fete committee and organising the highly successful Sacred Heart fete held earlier this year. 

Nothing was ever too much trouble when working with Judy, she was always willing to pitch in and help however she could and has served the community above and beyond her role. 

Her energy and enthusiasm for the school will be sorely missed. 

The school community wishes Judy all the very best for her retirement and knows that she will drop in frequently to catch up and have a chat.
