A brilliant school reunion is set to take place at The White Ibis on Tuesday next (Melbourne Cup day).
It is a reunion of the class of 1961 from the Cootamundra High School, and former local man Peter Coggan ( now of Malua Bay) has been at the helm of this event, and I might add has done a first-class job of ‘finding’ students from that year!
Ken Lucas, Judy (Moon) Noble, who will be travelling from the Sunshine Coast, David Sharp (his twin Malcolm unable to make it), Heather Bell, Janet Coggan, Neville Suitor,Murray Scott, Neil Pether, Geoff Twomey, Chris Emery, John Doidge and so the list goes on.
Peter Coggan and his cousin Janet (Coggan) Alexander were School Captains back in 1961, and I feel sure many a happy story will be shared next week.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Warmest birthday wishes to one of Cootamundra’s nicest gentlemen Mr Harold Packham, of Parker Street, who yesterday celebrated his birthday.
Do hope you had a great day Harold with your many family members there to make your day special.
