The men have cut 74 access panels in the roof, repaired the holes, and fixed the paintwork.
All going to plan the project will draw to a close on Friday November 7.
Steve and Craig were connecting water pipes in the nursing home roof on Thursday.
Craig’s pleased with the job thus far, and he says they’ll be putting their heads down to complete it as soon as possible before it gets any hotter.
It’s a hot job; project supervisor Barry Blair says that when it’s 28 degrees downstairs it could be 48 degrees in the roof.
Barry says the men have done well with such a challenging job, as they have considered residents, nursing home staff and existing electrical infrastructure.
