Stand-in captain Tom Campbell won the toss and elected to bat, their innings lasting just 17.2 overs.

Jarrod Keelan led the Central Hotel bowling attack capturing 4/19 from seven overs, Chris Drum chipped in with 2/5 while Jason Cronin captured 2/14 from six overs.
Set the moderate score of 56 runs for victory, Central Hotel started slow losing Aaron Cronin for six, Tom Grace for a duck and Josh Thompson for 1, but still ran down the Stockinbingal total in 12.4 overs.
Brendan Gale continued his run of supreme form, smashing his way to 46 not out with an innings that included five fours.
Gale’s two previous innings have been 50 against the Crusaders and 42 against the Family Hotel Blues.
14 year-old Jack Caldwell again showed he is one of Cootamundra’s most promising young cricketers; Jack opened the bowling and captured 2/15 from his five overs.
Central Hotel have moved into second place on the Merrin Cup ladder and return to Albert Park on Saturday to take on Country Club, while Stockinbingal has the bye.
