Grant who lives with his family in Newcastle was in Junee on business, so spent time here and enjoyed a game of golf on our currently ‘lush looking’ golf course with his dad Clarrie and brother Robert.
ADDING MY GREETINGS
I must add my HAPPIEST Birthday Greetings to Mrs May Coggan on the occasion of her 100th birthday which she celebrated yesterday.
Many memories flood back of times spent at the country property of Len and May Coggan, up Caulderwood Lane, Muttama, attending tennis parties (the Coggan children were champion tennis players, particularly Peter Coggan).
THEN when Len and May were ‘at the helm’ of the Olympic Hotel - excellent hosts, and back in those days one thought ‘the universe spun from there.”
To all the family and relatives coming to town later in the week for Mrs Coggan’s birthday party have a GRAND time!
HOME FOR CHRISTMAS
How nice to catch up with former Cootamundra girl Michelle Levy this week. Michelle and her husband David Levy are back in town for Christmas with Michelle’s family Ken and June Stapleton .
And what a story they have to tell since moving on from management of that fun, fabulous hotel at Coopernook (on the Pacific Highway near Bulahdelah). The relinquished Coopernook some 12 months ago, spent the following year travelling around Australia and now both have working positions in Cairns.
I say OH WHAT A LIFE!
