Thanks to Miss Chris from the Chris Edwards School of Dance 52 in total were headed to the Sydney Opera House to see the Matinee performance of ‘The Nutcracker Suite’
Chris ‘set the seed’ many months ago with mums and friends and the rest is history!
Youngsters I met over the weekend were beside themselves with excitement at not only their first trip to the Opera House BUT also attending a ballet performance.
So Sad (other words fail me!!) what was taking place in the Sydney CBD on Monday, necessitating closing down the Opera House area. SO those organising the trip ‘were in limbo’ for some time - but yesterday at 7am it was on with this splendid OUTING, and ACCOLADES to Miss Chris for her input into delighting so many with this trip to the Opera House at Christmas.
Look forward to showing photos eg. the nicest lady Marie Raleigh on her first visit to the Opera House.
HIGH SCHOOL ART
The current art display at The Khaya is most certainly worth a visit. It is works by the students of the Cootamundra High School. I was impressed.
CHRISTMAS FUN
See you all ‘down the street’ tomorrow evening when the Town Christmas party takes place, with all the shops open, stalls lining the street, Santa present, entertainment and the drawing of the Shop Local voucher.
WATER AEROBICS
The Water Aerobics Classes are now taking place in the outdoor pool and given the warmer weather one is enjoying a workout in the cooler water.
It will run through the school holidays (except for public holidays) Monday, Wednesday ,Friday with an 8am start.
AND, if you have A happy Christmas story to tell eg. family or friends home for Christmas we would LOVE a story and photos.
