It was a 10 year reunion for these happy ex-students and celebrations took place at The White Ibis, with hosts Boz and Ivanka delighting all with yummy food and a splendid evening.
(Ivanka commented to me they now have a new and inviting winter menu).
Former students travelled from far and wide including New Zealand.
On Sunday Nicky Trinder took the Year of 2005 on tour of the school.
A notable absentee was Joe Cooper, son of Ashley and Lindy Cooper.
Joe now lives in London, and where was he at the weekend?
Enjoying an impressive day out at Royal Ascot!
BIRTHDAY FUN
WHAT a “hoot” of an evening last Saturday night when popular man Ralph Hotston celebrated his 50th birthday (which is today) with a party at the racecourse. Gourmet cook and lovely wife Julie cooked up a storm for the 100 plus guests!
Mavis Bracken celebrated her birthday on Sunday last with a gathering of friends and family (one guest travelled from Perth).
Renae Glanville from E’Claires is TODAY the birthday girl.
Social jottings
LOVELY to catch up with former Herald editor Peita (Wilmot) Vincent, husband Mark and children when in town last weekend. Peita and family live in Wagga and she works at Charles Sturt University.
Belated birthday greetings to one of Coota’s top-notch gentleman Peter Cash who celebrated his birthday on Tuesday last.
Accolades to the organising committee of the World Refugee Week Ecumenical Prayer service.
MICK AND VAL'S GARDEN
A SPECIAL gathering was held at the Southern Comfort Motel recently when Peter and Helen Noonan dedicated a garden to the late Mick and Val Purtell.
Afternoon tea was then served to family and friends.
Val worked at the motel for 25 years and Mick had been the gardener for many years. They also filled in when Peter and Helen went on holidays.
