Expanding a simply woeful finish to the season, Cootamundra plunged to their sixth loss in the past seven games as Temora ran riot.
Up 12-0 in as many minutes, the Dragons were ahead 20-6 at half-time and never in danger of losing.
By the time Temora captain-coach Michael Henderson and winger Taylor Krause had crossed for tries to start the second half, the Dragons were bolting with a 30-6 advantage.
Temora’s landslide win was another body blow to the Bulldogs, who are limping toward the end of the season.
After fighting hard to lock down fourth place on the table at the midway mark of the premiership, the Bulldogs have fallen in an embarrassing hole.
With two games to go, Cootamundra cannot make the finals and risks crashing further if beaten by Southcity and Brothers.
In contrast, Temora finally got something to celebrate as they bludgeoned the Bulldogs into submission.
Yet again talented Jordan Ballard led the way for Cooamundra, scoring three of the team’s five tries while the Dragons had nine individual try scorers.
