The Blues were never troubled as they ran out convincing winners by 142 points booting 22-19-151 to 1-3-9.
Playing against a side that had only two matches at the start of the season and both of those wins were with stacked sides, the Blues started slowly booting four goals in the first quarter, five in the second quarter, five in the third and moved into top gear in the final quarter booting eight goals to record their biggest win of the season.
The Tuggeranong Hawks did not score in the third and fourth quarters.
The Blues had many valuable players across the ground.
On-baller Dylan McDermott were again dominant and was afforded best on ground.
Up forward, Chris Drum and Tim Smeeth became the focal point for the Blues to score with the pair booting 11 goals.
Down back Joel Pearson continually drove, the Blues into attack with his strong marking and long raking kicks.
Toby Johnston, who did not finish the match against Ainslie, seems to be recovered and got through plenty of work when required.
Blues premiership captain from last season Stephen Chant is getting better in every match and is an integral part of Blues line-up as the finals loom.

Coming up
Next Saturday, the Blues host the Cooma Cats, while the following Saturday the Blues travel to Goulburn.
The Cats were defeated by Yass by seven points on Saturday and subsequently dropped to fourth place behind Yass.
They will be keen to win, as the side that finishes third will host an elimination final.
Meanwhile, the Goulburn/Ainslie match was not played on Sunday due to the wet weather and may be played later this week.
The Goulburn/Cootamundra match will decide the minor premiership with the winner hosting the major semi-final on Saturday, August 22.
