Amanda said she will never be able to thank everyone who supported her in making her dream of living a normal life without MS become a reality.
“This is the best I have felt in 15 years,” Amanda said.
“All feeling is back in my legs and the spasms and chronic fatigue have all gone.
“Drs monitoring my blood levels say I should be allowed out in public in the next few weeks and then I can’t wait to get out and enjoy my new life, free of MS!”
AND Amanda TODAY celebrates her birthday!
A very happy birthday to Amanda.
Wattle Time Fair
A BIG day out for all Cootamundra residents TOMORROW when we celebrate at the Wattle Time Fair.
The Street Parade commences at noon, then we will all make our way around to Albert Park where there will be a ‘mirror maze’ of stalls (over 40 in total).
A delicious lunch will be assured with many food stalls in Albert Park and amusements for the children.
AILEEN’S PASSING
WELL-known local lady Mrs Aileen Warton passed away on Tuesday, August 25, after a short period in the Cootamundra Nursing Home.
She was aged 85 years.
Many memories flood back of her “lifelong talent” on the tennis court.
AQUA AEROBICS
AQUA aerobics instructor Helen Axentieff advises there is a time change to classes at the heated pool, as of Monday next, 8.30am in lieu of 8am.
TIM’S VISIT
THE U3A Group is preparing to welcome Mr Tim Fischer to town when he speaks in the Stephen Ward Rooms on Wednesday, September 2.
Tim will be speaking on the latest book he has published, it will be for sale, and all are most welcome to come along.
It commences at 2.30pm.
I feel sure the afternoon will be most interesting and enlightening.
SEE YOU THERE.
