The Bears will have a new leader with Scott Sharman taking on the presidency from long-serving president Mark Ward.
Stepping down, Mark said “Rugby is a great game and caters for all types.”
He paid tribute to the strength of the club.
“The Bears Club is strong and supportive with a great family base,” Mark said.
Mark remains on the committee as treasurer.
A highlight for this year was undoubtedly the Grand Final victory of the under 11 Bears, who continue to impress and showcase rugby union being in good hands in Cootamundra leading into the future.
The club recently held their presentation afternoon where trophies were given to outstanding players in each age group.
