Many members were absent, away holidaying and too bitter for some of our members.
A warm welcome was expressed to those who braved the cold and a welcome afternoon tea followed.
Sue, our agricultural officer, brought along several books showing photos of boronia, which along with butterflies, are CWA's study of fauna and flora for 2015.
Much discussion arose regarding the Kangaroo March to be held in Wallendbeen on Sunday, September 13.
His Excellency Sir Peter Cosgrove will join a re-enactment of the 1915 Wagga Kangaroos march at Wallendbeen.
The discussion included the cooking to be done by members.
The day is part of a month long event tracing the march route through southern NSW and bringing into sharp focus the human dimension of a war that is now fading from living memory.
Meantime, Diana was very excited to tell of her son Jack who was competing in the under 11s grand final rugby at Temora.
Congratulations to Jack and his team with their win, well done.
The next meeting will be held in the Wallendbeen Hall on Tuesday, September 8 at 2pm.
Hostesses are C O'Brien, R Hicks, and F Quirk.
