The branch has invited domestic violence officer and Cootamundra policewoman, Heidi Clancy, to be the guest speaker at the annual meeting at the Hall on Tuesday, October 13.
A thank you message was received from the Dungog CWA member who was affected in the recent floods, after it received the parcel from the members.
Get well wishes were forwarded to Diana Bassingthwaighte after her recent surgery in Bowral.
Five members attended the Hume group International and Cultural day at Eurongilly.
The international book compiled by officer Ann was entered for judging.
Agricultural officer Sue spooked of the seasonal conditions and the canola flowering.
Wallendbeen members were very concerned after the recently published headline “Future shaky for CWA in Cootamundra”.
Following the day branch closing in June and the Evening branch having an uncertain future, there is concern among the members.
Cootamundra branch was one of the first to form in 1922.
Support from any anyone interested would be most welcome in Cootamundra.
The next meeting will be the Annual General Meeting at the Wallendbeen Memorial Hall Tuesday, October 13 at 2pm.
All are welcome to attend the AGM to hear Heidi Clancy speak on “Awareness re Domestic Violence."
Afternoon tea will follow provided by the members.
A general meeting will be held prior to the AGM at 1pm .
