CENTRAL Hotel has scored an impressive 24-run victory over the S&C Young Ones in their Delta Agribusiness Premier League match at Young’s Cranfield Oval on Saturday.

Central Hotel lost the toss and was asked to bat on dry deck but made the competitive total of 163 runs in 36 overs.
They then bowled out the Young Ones for 139 runs in 36.1 overs.
The win by the Central sees them move into second spot on the ladder at the expense of Mimosa who had to forfeit their match to Ex-Services.
Central’s batting was led the experienced duo of Adam Twyford and John Stephens.
Twyford top scored with 35 while Stephens made 30, the pair added 62 runs for the second wicket.
Brendan Gale who opened the batting was as solid as a rock in scoring 20 and he was the third batsman dismissed with the total at 85.
With the deck doing a bit and some poor batting technique saw eight Central Hotel cleaned bowled.
Bowling for the Young Ones, 16-year-old Sam Davis captured 3/19 from six overs while Geoff Lucas snared 2/11.
The fact that the Young Ones bowled 22 wides really helped to boost Central’s total.
S&C Young Ones opening batsman, Glenn Blizzard, was an impressive stand out with the bat.
Blizzard, who had earlier bowled and kept wickets, spent nearly the entire match on field.
Blizzard top scored with a fine 59 an innings that included six fours and he was the eighth batsmen dismissed with score at 122.
Sam Davis completed a fine match in scoring 14 and he and Blizzard added 38 runs for the fifth wicket.
Central opening bowler Ray James done the early damage with the ball capturing 3/30 from ten overs.
The spinners chimed in with five wickets, Jacob Sutherland captured, wrapped up the innings with 3/17 from four overs while Adam Twyford captured 2/4 from two overs.
With the Mimosa forfeiting due to the harvest being in full swing, and the Commercial Hotel Scorchers forfeiting to the Crusaders, the Young Ones and Central Hotel match was the only game in round six.
