At about 2.30pm, the single vehicle accident occurred with police yet to determine what caused the crash.
As a result of the crash, the car caught fire and by the time firefighters arrived it was fully engulfed in fire.
A fire had spread, which was quickly extinguished and contained to an area of about 80x15 metres.
Two passengers in the vehicle were uninjured.
