The event took place on the bowling green at the Country Club.
This was the first year that the Minor Pairs had been trialled and the championships were conducted with great enthusiasm and competitiveness.
In the final, the Williams father and son duo were opposed by the very well credentialed combination of Brad Lange and David Harris.
Lange and Harrison entered the tournament firm favourites to wrest the title, but it wasn’t to be.
Roger and Steve played spectacular bowls in fine conditions to crush their opposition, withstanding all challenges to record a huge 27-13 victory.
