Each year the Cootamundra branch of the Country Women’s Association (CWA) gives a gift to the mother of the baby born at Cootamundra Hospital closest to Mother’s Day.

This year, that honour belonged to Karin Rogers, who with husband John, welcomed baby Bentley into the world on Monday, May 16.
Karin was presented with a gorgeous nappy bag chock-full of lovely items donated by members including blankets, outfits, wipes and handmade booties and hats.
Mrs Rogers thanked the CWA for the thoughtful gift saying it was a lovely tradition to be part of.
While a relatively new branch, the Cootamundra CWA is keen to continue the traditions of old and grow into the future.
