This funding, allocated by the state government when Cootamundra and Gundagai Shire Councils were amalgamated, will be given to groups in amounts of up to $50,000.
Application forms are already online, however for those residents interested in finding out more information, discussion sessions will be held in both Gundagai and Cootamundra.
Here, council staff will attempt to address any questions by community groups.
The Gundagai session will be 6pm Thursday, August 4 while Cootamundra’s session will be Tuesday, August 9 in the Stephen Ward Rooms from 10am until noon.
