The Cootamundra community is grieving following the loss of 28-year-old Dougal Hill as a result of a motor vehicle accident last Friday, August 19.

Sadly Mr Hill passed away in hospital on Saturday, August 20, prompting an outpouring of support from the community for his family and friends.
Mr Hill was a well-respected member of the community; a farmer from the Stockinbingal area and heavily involved in the Cootamundra Rugby Club.
A funeral service to celebrate Mr Hill’s life will be held on Sunday, September 4 at the family property ‘Springvale’.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Snowy Hydro SouthCare, the rescue helicopter service which gets people in regional areas, including Cootamundra, to where help is available as quickly as possible.
