The traditional parade made its way down Parker Street today in great weather with parades held across the state at the same time.
The theme for this year’s parade was Australia.
Book Week is an imitative of the Children’s Book Council of Australia.
It brings children and books together to promote and celebrate a love of literature.
The parade is a highlight and once again Cootamundra delivered with some terrific costumes.
This year for the first time Sacred Heart Central School joined students from the public schools as well as younger-age groups from the library, Toy Library and pre-schools.
