Be early to bag a bargain with doors opening at 8am until 2pm.
There is an array of items for sale from books to crockery to linen to handmade goods, bric-a-brac and even furniture.
Certainly something for everyone; well laid out and great for a browse.
Anyone spring cleaning this week or with items to be donated can drop unwanted good-condition items to be sold at the Monster Garage and Book Sale to the Scout Hall before 5pm Friday.
There are to be no electrical or clothing items sold this year.
The hall will be open between 9am and 5pm all week as Can Assist volunteers price items and get ready for the big day.
A cake stall and barbecue breakfast will complement the sale, also raising funds for Can Assist.
The sale is one of the biggest fundraisers for Can Assist each year and last year brought in close to $4000.
Volunteers are hoping to reach at least this figure again this year with all funds going to help cancer patients in the district.
The Cootamundra branch of Can Assist offers vital financial support when people need it most to those living in Cootamundra, Stockinbingal and Wallendbeen, as well as outlying farming properties.
