There are few flowers more impressive than a well-grown rose and on this day, visitors will see some of the best from around the district.
The show will run from 12noon until 3.45pm with afternoon tea and a plant stall adding something for everyone.
Entry is free.
This year marks the 22nd annual Rose Show.
The Garden Club’s Don Elliott said roses are starting to come out well now following a wetter than usual winter.
He said categories this year will include roses, floral art, fruit and vegetables and photography.
Special awards will be presented in memory of fondly remembered Garden Club members Jenny Cash and Frank and Muriel Lewis including the Grand Champion Rose in Mrs Cash’s honour.
