Condolences were give to Dawn on the passing of her husband.
In her president’s report, Alison referred to the good year our organisation had had, and some of the highlights were the Friendship Quilt which, upon its completion, was donated to a charity and raffled; the attendance of some members to the 90th birthday celebrations for former member Nancy Peel, who now lives in Canberra; and the assistance we have received through the year from the helpful railway staff.
The election of officer bearers resulted in most of the retiring executive being returned, such as president Alison, secretary Anne and treasurer Joyce.
Some of those re-elected mentioned that this was their last year in these positions.
