Easter Resurrection Ball organiser James Philpott has praised the behavioural standards of ball-attendees in the aftermath of another successful event.
The 2015 ball was originally tipped to be the last, however, a resolute organising committee and strong community backing saw its rebirth in 2017 and Philpott could not have been happier with the result.
“All in all, the event went really well,’ he said.
“Our official count came in around 650, so it was a little lower than last year but pretty good numbers overall.
Mr Philpott noted a marked improvement on the behavioural front from last year’s shenanigans and thanked the surrounding residential areas for their tolerance.
“It turned out to be a really well behaved crowd and the noise – which was a key problem (in previous years) – wasn’t too bad,” he said.
