Catherine Annetts has been crowned the Cootamundra Herald’s inaugural “Picnic Races Hot 50” winner after clinching the title by a single vote.

Mrs Annetts (42 votes) saw off a competitive field of local and regional talent to claim the Hot 50 title just ahead of second-placed Kylie Bowditch (41 votes).

Sarah Stephens (27 votes), Shona Lawson (22 votes) and Emma Wells (18 votes) rounded out the Top Five, with Sarah Vasey, Amanda Rosegreen and Stephanie Menere also featuring in the Top Eight.

Mrs Annetts was resplendent on the day, wearing a dress by Blossom and shoes by Jak + Jill, with a Jewels & Things clutch and fascinator combination.

The outfit was made complete by jewelry and accessories from Anita Morton’s Park Lane Jewelry.
