The Can Assist quilt raffle has proven a resounding success after being drawn last Friday May 12 inside Patchwork on Parker.

The pictured quilt was first prize at the raffle.

Second prize was a lovely hand-sewn item while third prize was a photo session valued at $120 with Struan Timms.

Can Assist spokesperson Gloria Harris said the raffle was a marvellous occasion and raised vital funds for the organisation.

“People have been incredibly generous and we’re very lucky to be living in such a giving community,” Mrs Harris said.

Can Assist continues to provide vital assistance to the Cootamundra community, only possible through generous donations and some dedicated fundraising efforts.
