The Cootamundra Blues scored one of their biggest wins since entering AFL Canberra 14 seasons ago, defeating the Molonglo Juggernauts by a mammoth 235 pts at Clarke Oval on Saturday.

The Blues demolished the win-less Juggernauts booting 37-22-244 to 1-1-7 in a lopsided affair.
The Juggernauts had only last week pushed the Batemans Bay Sea Hawks to within 15 points in a tight tussle.
However the visitors were sorely lacking personnel this time around and could only field 17 players against the Blues.
With the luxury of a five-man bench, the Blues exploded out of the blocks, booting nine majors in the first term to bundle Molonglo out of contention well before halftime.
The Blues went on to post a further 28 goals with 12 scorers, including an 11-goal haul to full forward Brad Slater, whilst conceding just the one major in the third term to wrap up the comprehensive victory.
Jimmy Finucane was adjudged best on ground with another stand out performance featuring five goals and a bundle of possessions, whilst Stephen Chant, Phil Bird, Dylan McDermott, Blake Basham and Sam Baldcock all had strong games.
Club spokesperson Pat Kerin singled out Basham for a particularly improved effort against the Juggernauts.
“Blake continues to improve every match,” Kerin said.
“He used his height to great advantage and his strong marking was a feature of today.”
The Blues have a bye this week and will host premiership contenders ANU Griffins next Saturday June 3.
