Jake, Chelsea, brother Zac and dad Geoff are Rabbitohs members while mum Melissa supports the Eels, making the Eels v Rabbitohs game an annual pilgrimage for the family.

This year’s Melissa’s parents joined them.

Jake, with his membership lanyard on, was having his face painted when he was approached and asked if he would like to run out with the team. 

Chelsea then got in on the fun and both enjoyed the opportunity to go into the players’ room.

“It was a unbelievable experience,” Melissa said. 

With the Eels getting up it was a win for mum, nan and pop but nothing could wipe the smile off the kids’ faces after their experience.
