This was a decrease of approximately 1500 head from the previous sale.
The market was made up of 2851 lambs, 961 ewes, 474 hoggets, and 41 rams.
With most usual buyers operating, competition was strong for the heavy trade lambs while some lighter lambs were $4 to $5 cheaper although this was mainly quality related.
The mutton market was of mixed quality with some very good pens of XB ewes presented along with lighter boner mutton and sold to a strong fully firm market.
Top price went to Jack Cameron "Kiora North " Temora with BLM principal Lach Bassingthwaighte with a top pen of lambs that made $182.
With an estimated CW of 27.5kg and carrying a $7 skin, they came back at $6.40/kg CW and were knocked down to Gathercole Processors VIC on a single bid.
