A total of nine girls will make their debut this year.
This year’s date coincides with the Wattle Time Fair to be held at Fisher Park and street parade down Parker Street.
The debutante ball is a time-honoured tradition where girls are presented to society.
The girls and their partners will spend weeks practicing their dances.
Present at the ball will be the 2017 Miss Wattle, who will be named on the cover of the Wednesday, August 2 edition of the Cootamundra Herald.
