Held early in June, the event also raised $3500 through raffles on the night.
With 130 people in attendance it was a terrific evening.
“While not initially meant as a fundraiser, we are very happy to be able to distribute our remaining monies,” ball committee member Gil Kelly said.
The committee was able to hand over $3000 to the Cootamundra Hospital Auxiliary this week, which will go towards purchasing a new Patient Care Chair and patient mobility aides.
They also donated $500 to the family of Queensland police officer Brett Forte via the Brett Forte Remembrance Fund.
Brent was fatally shot while on duty in May this year.
The committee is now turning their attention to 2018, when they plan to host an even bigger and better ball.
