She was honoured for her contribution to the organisation with a certificate and flowers at Saturday night’s Business Awards, one of the many events hosted by the CDC.
The CDC plays a varied role in the community from organising events such as Wattle Time, to providing a leg-up to businesses through the provision of seminars, speakers and industry partnerships to overseeing the local Centrelink sub-branch.
With her finger on the pulse across all of these areas, Gail has been an asset to the corporation.
She was shown the ropes by former office manager Sharon Breese and thanked her for “teaching me everything I ever needed to know” at the awards ceremony.
Today, she works with Kate Collingridge, who took on the office manager role from Ashleigh Warton earlier this year.
As well as the people she has worked with, including the varied board members over her more than a decade with the CDC, Gail paid tribute to the businesses she has worked with.
“All of us at the CDC have loved working with each and every one of you,” she said.
