The event – scheduled for Tuesday July 25 between 2.30pm and 3.30pm – will raise awareness and support for the Nursing Home Auxiliary and event co-ordinator Lydia Falzon has encouraged one and all to enjoy an afternoon of treats and friendship.

“We’ve got plenty of food and we’re encouraging people to don their Christmas sweaters and attire for the event,” Mrs Falzon said.

“It’s just a donation to attend, all are welcome ... and we’d love to chat with anyone who’s interested in working with or learning more about the auxiliary team.

“I don’t think we’ll be having too many decorations on display though – it’s hard enough to set up Christmas once a year!"
