Three photos of the dogs have been released, clearly identifying them as being two Staffordshire Bull Terrier breed, or Staffys; one black and white, the other tan. Both are wearing thick collars.
The release follows an investigation by The Daily Advertiser into a spate of deadly dog attacks in Wagga in the past week.
A mother used a shovel to fight off two dogs that were attacking her prized miniature pony on Gregadoo Road Lake Albert, while a nearby neighbour lost two lambs after dogs entered her property on separate days and were attacked.
Wagga City Council seized and destroyed the two dogs that attacked the miniature horse, and have stepped up ranger patrols of the area.
Owners face fines of several hundred dollars if their dog is found wandering, and even more if their dog attacks.
If you have any information in relation to the identity or ownership of these dogs please contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000 or Tumut Police Station on 02 6947 7199.
