The occasion coincided with the 90th birthday of head of the family Norm, who has lived in Cootamundra most of his adult life after growing up in West Wyalong.
While he could not be at the party as he was in hospital, his family enjoyed visiting him with a special birthday cake.
Norm’s marriage to Dorothy (nee Armstrong) lasted 67 years before she passed away in May this year and together the couple have five children, 16 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
He was a train driver until he retired in 1987.
He and his wife devoted their extracurricular time to church activities, in particular the Cootamundra Bible Fellowship.
Family travelled from near and far to attend the reunion including Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, Wollongong, Lismore and closer to home Gundagai and Cootamundra.
